I wish I knew her story. For some reason I am hesitant to talk with anyone while I am photographing, then when I get back home and view the photos on my computer, I wish so much that I had at least given my card to the people I had photographed so they could get a photo if they wanted. Maybe next time I will be more thoughtful of this ;)

WHERE: Waterfront Park in Portland, Oregon
WHAT: Protest marking the 3 year anniversary of the US lead Iraq invasion

A good photo can tell the story better then the person on it might be able to. Not as much in details, but in essence. I think you captured the most important elements of this person, so great job once again.

Fine photograph. You've managed to capture so much dignity and sorrow in the face. To me, this figure is humanity giving a presence to conscience. Great work.

To love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existence...
Well, that, and that thing you do with your tongue.
Thank you :)

there were some really amazing signs there that i wish i had captured too... One of them that I wanted the most said "Bush love Hitler" but the guy carring it was on the move and hard to nail down ;)
