Artist's Comments

This photo was taken back on January 20th in downtown Miami. This anti-war protest was scheduled to coincide with the inauguration of George W. Bush. The interesting thing about this protest was that there was almost as big a protest against the anti-war folks by the Christian protest warriors as there were anti-war protesters.

heh.. i love this danny..

i love the look of wide-eyed bewilderment and innocence on the kid's face holding the sign of hope..... and the look of absolute tired scepticism and reality on the mother holding the child....

Wow..I really like this photo. What a sweet little girl. I hope things are better by the time she is old enough to see what's really going on in the world. I hope but I'm not so sure. :(
